Research
Building knowledge from strong roots
Educational practice has come a long way over the years, but there is still much to discover about learning, assessment, instructional methods, and the adaptation of curriculum for students with disabilities. ILSSA is constantly conducting in-depth qualitative and quantitative research, providing data analysis, designing evaluation, and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals through federal and state granting agencies. We have a successful track record of writing and securing grants and contracts around a number of educational issues.
Our team has decades of classroom experience, which results in an embedded philosophy that all the research we conduct should improve education for students. We work closely with our clients to help recognize potential opportunities for research, understand the implications of research findings, prioritize needs based on those findings, and identify how those needs can be addressed.
