Paraeducator Question/Answer Documents
provide school district directors and school principals, teachers, and paraeducators with information regarding paraeducators. Paraeducators should always seek advice from district and school administrators regarding local district policies and procedures.
The question/answer documents are divided into four parts:

Part 2: Recruiting and Hiring Highly Qualified Paraeducators
Part 3: Professional Development for Paraeducators
Part 4: Specific Supervisory Issues

The other parts will be posted as they become available.
Other documents related to the Question/Answer Documents will also be available. For example, when a district is considering the assignment of a paraeducator to an individual student based upon the student's needs, Education Team Members may use the following adapted from Muller and Murphy to assist them:
