Starting Strong:
An Institute for Early Childhood Partnerships
The Starting Strong Institute is a joint venture between the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence and the University of Kentucky Interdisciplinary Human Development Institute. Initial funding was provided by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation with ongoing funding provided by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
The goal of the Starting Strong Institute is to promote family and early childhood program partnerships that will increase family involvement and improve child outcomes and program quality.
