Related Degrees

 

Document description: This document is the working list of related degrees to be used for consideration of candidates for the trainer's credential by the Review Panel. It is not a finite list at this time. Additions may occur as the need arises and will be confirmed by the Office of Early Childhood Development and the Director of the Division of Child Care.(Revised 7/06)

3 Hour Equivalencies

 

Document description: This document is the equivalent trainings to be used for consideration of candidates for the trainer's credential by the Review Panel. Applicants with a related degree at Levels 4 and 5 must submit documentation of 3 credit hours in child development or the equivalent. (Added 11/03)

Common Application Mistakes

 

Document description: This document lists the common mistakes made by applicants when completing their applications. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and therefore are delayed in being scheduled for review by the Trainer's Credential Review Panel. FET Waiver Guidelines

 

Document description: Candidates seeking Level 4 or 5 Trainer's Credentials may seek a waiver for the required 15-hour seminar on “Fundamentals of Effective Training” if they have completed similar training in the previous 10 years and the curriculum matches content and focus of the required seminar. Acceptable equivalent training must cover areas included in the “Fundamentals of Effective Training” as outlined in this document.  (Added 08/05)
